Eating in restaurants, 70% of passengers allowed on public transport

 The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has extended business hours across Pakistan to 10pm instead of 8pm, while petrol pumps, medical stores and grocery stores will be open 24 hours a day.

According to the NCOC, "Business will be closed one day a week and that day will be decided by the provinces themselves."

A meeting chaired by Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar on Monday decided that "food will be allowed inside restaurants with 50 per cent capacity and this permission will be given only to vaccinated people."

The NCOC has "allowed cinemas to be opened for vaccinated people until one o'clock at night."

In addition, public transport, including railways, is allowed to run at 70% capacity, but passengers will be required to wear masks.

It was decided at the meeting that the existing SOPs for travelers coming to Pakistan from abroad would remain in force till further orders.

The NCOC has "decided to maintain the ban on cultural, religious and other gatherings while the shrines have been allowed to reopen under certain regulations."

It was decided at the meeting that "recreational places and swimming pools will be opened with 50 per cent capacity."

The National Command and Operations Center has also given permission to open gyms across the country, and gym management will be responsible for checking vaccination certificates for visitors.

It was stated in the meeting that the decision of summer vacation in educational institutions is at the discretion of the provinces and no meeting was held in this regard in the NCOC.
